| چکیده | ||
| This study investigated Iranian EFL teachers’ and learners’ perceptions and attitudes towards integrating Internet in EFL instruction; and the congruence of their attitudes and perceptions. As a mixed-method research, the data was collected both through questionnaires and interviews. Chi-square test was run for quantitative data and the qualitative data were transcribed, coded and thematized. The findings gathered from both qualitative and quantitative methods showed that both teachers and learners had positive perceptions and attitudes towards integrating Internet in EFL instruction and indicated that the factors like lack of facilities and hardware equipment limit Internet integration in Iranian setting. Moreover, the groups indicated that using Internet in EFL instruction and teaching process could be facilitative because of more accessibility to authentic sources, possibility of teacher-student interaction out of the educational environment and improvement of acquiring English learning skills in a faster and efficient way. | ||

| هدف از انجام این تحقیق در وهله ی اول بررسی نگرش معلمین و زبان آموزان ایرانی نسبت به بکارگیری اینترنت در آموزش زبان انگلیسی و در مرتبه ی دوم بررسی همخوانی و یکسانی نگرش و دیدگاه های آنها نسبت به گنجاندن اینترنت در آموزش زبان انگلیسی بوده است. در این تحقیق، از روش تحقیق ترکیبی کمی-کیفی استفاده شده است و داده های مورد نیاز از طریق توزیع پرسشنامه و انجام مصاحبه جمع آوری شده است. بر روی یافته های بدست آمده از روش تحقیقی کمی، تست Chi-square انجام شد و برای تحلیل یافته های بدست آمده از روش تحقیق کیفی، داده ها کد گذاری و تفسیر شدند. نتایج بدست آمده از دو روش تحقیقی کمی و کیفی نشان داد که معلمین و زبان آموزان ایرانی زبان انگلیسی نگرش مثبتی نسبت به گنجاندن اینترنت در آموزش زبان انگلیسی دارند. آنها کمبود تجهیزات سخت افزاری در محیط آموزشی را مهمترین عامل بازدارنده در بکارگیری این تکنولوژی در آموزش زبان انگلیسی دانسته اند. همچنین دسترسی به منابع موثق زبان انگلیسی، امکان برقراری ارتباط و تدریس خارج از محیط آموزشی و فراگیری مهارت های زبان آموزی بطور سریع تر و موثرتر را مهمترین عوامل تسهیل کننده در بکارگیری اینترنت در آموزش زبان انگلیسی دانسته اند. | ||
